Vilvam Nature ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and app, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have over it.

Information We Collect

• Account details: your phone number (used to sign in via a one-time password), and optionally your name and email.
• Delivery addresses: street, city, state, pincode, and coordinates, so we can confirm we deliver to you and route your order.
• Order history: items purchased, quantities, amounts, and delivery status.
• Payment method chosen (UPI, card, net banking, or cash on delivery) — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves; see "Payments" below.
• Business name, for wholesale accounts only.

How We Use Your Information

• To verify your identity and keep your account secure (phone OTP login).
• To confirm whether we deliver to your address, calculate delivery charges, and fulfil your orders.
• To show you your order history and let you track a delivery in progress.
• To respond to support requests.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations (e.g. retaining order records).

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.

How We Protect Your Information

• Sensitive personal fields (phone number, email, and address) are encrypted in our database, not stored as plain text.
• All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Sign-in uses a one-time password sent to your phone rather than a password we'd have to store — if you additionally set an email/password login from Account Settings, that password is stored using industry-standard one-way hashing, never in plain text.
• Our systems never log your raw phone number, email, password, or payment details.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway. We never receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, or bank credentials — Razorpay handles that directly, and we only receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded.

Who We Share Information With

We share the minimum information necessary with:

• Our payment gateway (Razorpay), to process your payment.
• Delivery personnel, limited to what's needed to complete your delivery (name, address, phone number).

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Your Rights

From your Account Settings page, you can at any time:

• Export your data — download a copy of your profile, addresses, and order history.
• Delete your account — we anonymize your personal details (phone, name, address) while retaining anonymized order records where we're legally required to (e.g. for accounting).

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in securely between visits. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
